Recreational Events - Southampton Water and the Solent

We aim to collate information about all leisure events which are planned to take place within, or adjacent to the Southampton VTS area (Click here to see a map of the area). This enables us to help you avoid clashes with other events that may be planned, and allows VTS to be aware of your event on the day. Our aim is to improve safety for all users of the Solent.

Event organisers should also note that they are responsible for carrying out their own risk assessment of their event. 

To help us keep the list below as accurate as possible, event organisers are invited to download and complete our event notification form. Please email the completed form to us at sotonre@abports.co.uk a minimum of four weeks prior to your planned event.

Once the notification request is processed and the Harbour Master has granted permission, the event will appear in the below table.
